Long Island City is a former industrial hub turned thriving residential enclave. Bounded by the East River, Newton Creek, Astoria, and Sunnyside, it is the Queens neighborhood closest to Manhattan and one in which residents enjoy an eclectic mix of new high-rises, historical factories, and warehouses as well as exciting dining and nightlife scenes and a variety of neighborhood attractions.
Mason LIC sits near the heart of Long Island City, just above Hunters Point. Brooklyn Boulders is a popular rock-climbing studio located across the street. Nearby restaurants, bars, and cafes include places like John Brown BBQ, Artpresso, Goodfellas Pizzeria, PubLIC, Spot Dessert Bar, Joe Coffee Company, Da Long Yi Hot Pot, Kyuramen, Sansan Ramen, and local breweries LIC Beer Project and The Beast Next Door. There is a Target and Trader Joe's a few blocks away from the building, and the 7, F, N, and W subway lines offer a simple commute to Midtown Manhattan, Roosevelt Island, and Astoria.
